After my short sabbatical which allowed the 9/11 tribute to sit at the top of the pile for a few days the time is right to get back in the saddle.
So many stories over the last week or so that have demand attention it was difficult to give Mrs Gentul and the 2995 others the dignity they deserve.
Anyhoo - Paul McCartney GQ Man Of The Year.
How the fuck did that happen? And for what exactly did he win the award?
Releasing about his 40th shitty album on the trot?
Wringing some more revenue from the fact he was once in a rather popular band?
Getting divorced?
Let's be honest here. We all know that the last reason is probably the real one, though no-one will ever admit it.
Well guess what? My dad, like millions of others, went through a divorce and no-one, let alone GQ, bothered to give him an award.
All he got was a fat fucking lawyer's bill, an eviction notice and one day a week with his children.
