Just received an e-mail from Scott Brown, the owner of this blog.
Scott has an interesting idea for expanding his blog which is to invite contributions from guest writers, me being one of them. I have agreed to provide a piece on the ongoing shennanigans in the middle east between Israel & Lebanon.
Whilst I am no expert in middle eastern politics and I am sure whatever I submit will be pounced upon. When writing about a subject as emotive as this one is it is inevitable that I will offend someone. Despite this I still feel that it is a worthwhile excercise.
Scott will obviously retain editorial control over my piece. I have agreed that if my opinion differs from his own that he may post a counter point.
Stay tuned for further details...It should/could be fun.

I like the idea of that guest blogger business.
I've always fancied a bit of guest blogging on someone else's site, but had never considered doing it on mine. Hmmmm....

Davenelli - I will look forward to your take on this ongoing situation.
I am currently currently resident in the Middle East and watching the influx of both rich and poor, but none the less displaced, Lebanese citizens into my chosen city.
I will welcome an 'outside looking in' perspective.
