Obscurity Knocks

As my avid reader will no doubt have spotted I've not quite been myself for the last month or so...venom and bile have been somewhat in short supply. Rather I have been treading water without the stomach for a fight.
Well the last few days have sorted that out. I've spent the weekend analysing the things that have recently worn me down and decided it was time to tackle them head on.
I have decided that I will no longer tolerate those people I know who simply wish to moan about their life without doing something about it. You know the sort...the kind of people who believe that they are always the victim yet don't bother their arse makings any positive changes. If you want to be a victim then go right ahead, just don't expect me to care. I think William S. Burroughs nailed this one when he stated in "Words Of Advice For Young People" that one should
Avoid fuck-ups.
We all know the type.
Anything they have anything to do with,
No matter how good it sounds,
Turns into a disaster.
Do not offer sympathy to the mentally ill.
Tell them firmly:
I am not paid to listen to this drivel.
I am sick to death of people who want Davenelli to cure all of their ills. To those people (and they should know who they are) I say a great big fuck off! I have now removed your numbers from my mobile phone. I will no longer be answering your calls or responding to your e-mails.
I am also sick of people who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. Although I mainly blame the media for this shit. Why will no-one accept that accidents simply happen anymore? Why does someone always have to be to blame? Is it simply greed?
Oh if someone else is found to be at fault I'll get a fat fucking cheque...is that how it is these days? If it is it is truly sad.
Anyhoo...to those true friends that I have been neglecting whilst I dealt with the wasters in my address book I am truly sorry. From now on Davenelli will be the friend to you that you have always been to him.
Oh...I'll deal with the Starbucks stuff later...

Sounds to me like the story behind this post maybe a post I want to read. How about it Dave?

I do love a good old fashioned bit of backstabbing and bitching from time to time.

I agree with the chief here, let's hear the story.

You haven't been yourself. A little bitching will bring you around ;-)

Love the Starbucks photo.
