Snow Way, Snow How!!!

Hi there it is Thursday night/Friday morning and I am just home after a top night out. A friend of a friend opened his new bar/restaurant venture "The Big Slope." As far as I am aware this is the first snowboarding themed venue in Glasgow.

My sincere thanks go to Kevin for a great night. The complimentary champagne & pizza were much appreciated.

I have just spent the evening mixing with the good, the great and the beautiful of the "Glasgow Scene." The company at my table included photographers, djs, musicians, a songwriter and a bar/club impresarrio. A number of others were also at this table with less conspicuous occupations, myself included. The mix of major/minor occupations & strong personalities made for a most enjoyable evening out.

If you find yourself in the west end of Glasgow and looking for a "cool" place to hang I suggest that you check out The Big Slope on Kelvinhaugh Street or its sister venue The Observatory on Elderslie Street.

I'm confident that Kevin & the team will make you most welcome. Anyway I have to go now as I have to be up for work in about five hours (yip working on Good Friday what a pisser).
